Make your own Poldark Riding Crop

Our instructor Andrew Duncan made
Poldark's Riding Crop

for the BBC hit series season 2

For adults and children aged 8 and over

10.30am - 3pm

We feel very privileged to have been asked by the BBC to make Poldark's Riding Crop for the BBC Poldark 2nd Series. If you are a fan of Poldark, you may have even watched him, riding crop in hand on Seamus galloping across the Cornish countryside.

With the popularity of Poldark we thought that you may like to make your own 18th Century Riding Crop and therefore we are NOW offering a very special workshop where Andrew Duncan takes you step by step through the same process he did when he made the Poldark riding crop.

This day, set in a beautiful woodland, where Andrew will guide you in preparing the cut Hazel ready for sanding and staining with walnut stain. Whilst it is drying you will prepare the leather and string for the base of the crop and finish with applying the brass finishings to the handle. You will then have completed your very own authentic Poldark Riding Crop.

No experience is necessary and all tools and equipment are provided.

Course timing 10.30 to 3pm. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to course start time.
