 A wet Sunday afternoon in October and what a fabulous one it was for our Son's 9th birthday! 14 boys in beautiful woodland near Canterbury learning bushcraft survival skills. This party appealed to us because regardless of the weather, it would still go ahead. No venue to hire and cooking sausages and toasting marshmallows over the campfire was the party food sorted. We all had a great afternoon with Hannah and after a while we didn't even notice the rain! Gathering wood for the fire and lighting it; building debris shelters and cooking supper. This was an experience party and an opportunity for children to do something which doesn't involve electronics. The feedback we received afterwards from the boys was positive and we would love to do this again; perhaps Spring next time!
