One Day Foraging and Wild Food Cooking




Forage and FireThe Fire and Forage course was so well prepared & organised on arrival with several cooking tables. After a walk foragingidentifying the ingredients in the wood we paired up and prepared part of the meal, some dishes cooked over the fire and cauldron then we all ate the feast together. The flavours were so varied, subtle and delightful. (I won’t reveal the contents of the meal so as not to spoil the surprise)!

I didn’t realise how many plants offered by nature that I walk past are edible. So would be keen to join a summer and autumn season forage and learn more about fruit and nuts. After today, I feel grateful to be able to reach out and be more creative in nature to compliment the meals I cook than using shop food.

Thoroughly recommended.
