General Information
Location - Woodland close to village of Barham, near Canterbury. Kent. Directions will be sent via email two weeks prior to course date

e invite you to sleep in your shelters but suggest you also bring a tent for your convenience.
We have a no alcohol policy for health & safety reasons.
Please note that we do not have the use of showers (you are welcome to bring a solar shower bag)
There is a bush toilet on site.
If travelling by car we would appreciate if you can bring a large container of tap water with you. (There isn't a water supply on site).
We only accept use of fixed blade knifes.
We erect a large parachute in the trees for shelter.
We have a selection of equipment for sale on the course; Fixed blade knifes, Fire steels, Kelly kettles & books, Field guides, Thermal mugs.

By train: Local Aylesham or Canterbury. We can collect from the local train station which is Aylesham if arranged prior to course or provide contact details of local taxis.     
By car:   Directions to site will be sent via email prior to the course. Please do not use post-code from website as this is our office address and not where course is held.
There is car-parking space within the woodland. 

Discovery and Womens Discovery Course
Event timing Friday 1pm till Sunday 3pm. Arrival time is from 12am Friday.
Meals will be cooked on the fire and we ask that everyone takes part in preparing, cooking and washing up. (Please inform us if you require vegetarian food).
Bring a packed lunch for the first day and breakfast for both mornings.

2 Day Flint Knapping Course

Event timing 9.30am Sat -3.30pm Sun (arrival time from 9am or arrangements can be made to arrive Friday evening)
This course is self-catering and so please bring all you need to feed yourself for the weekend.
Suggestions are:
Cooking utensils
(There will be a central fire which will be available for cooking on too).
Tea, coffee, herbal teas and fresh drinking water are provided.
