“We felt at home right from the start and whilst the course was intensive, we learnt so much and left feeling very satisfied and quite serene.”

Alayne & Steve

We will look at signs, defining and explaining the factors that affect them. We will cover Movement by Day, Deception Tactics, Principles & Techniques of Stalking, Tracking Journal, Sit Spot, Track Pursuit & Lost Tracks Drills, Aging Sign, Tracking Stick, Spirit Tracking and following a live trail. We will introduce you to Tom Brown's fascinating world of pressure releases. Meet a Tree, Drum Stalk & the thrilling Fire Stalk are just some of the Nature Awareness games you will have fun taking part in.

“Next morning (we’d only been there half a day and a night and it felt like ages) Geoff took us to the next field and we were able to identify and then track foxes from the night before, we also saw stoat and pheasant tracks too”...

You can look forward to an informative and fun packed weekend. See you there!

“The instructing staff are first class and the whole course is conducted in what is known in modern teaching circles as a “safe learning environment”, this means you can ask any questions you like and know that nobody will laugh at you or ridicule you for not understanding.”

Tracking 3

4 Day Course

Imagine following a live trail for four days and working as a team. Tracking 3 promises to challenge you to the fullest extent. Not only will you need to deal with the environment you are in, but also pit your wits against a quarry who will be trying to lose you. The trail could take you into the night in order to close in on your quarry.

Where you stop for the night, is where you will sleep and in the morning you will pick up the trail again. Applying your skills on the move, the lessons become actions; your team will work as one, gaining a greater understanding of each other and your quarry. The trail ends when you capture your quarry.

Will your quarry see you coming? Good hunting.

“When I attended the tracking course with Natural Pathways, I received much more than simple tuition on Tracking. Both Geoffrey and Hannah are genuinely lovely people who are not simply tutors but also friendly people”…

“They introduced me into the worlds beyond the physical, which have now enriched my life more than I could have imagined. It is a gift that I am eternally grateful for. They opened me up, whether intentionally or not, to a wider nature with more levels than simply walking down the woods”.

Joel Atherton
